Peraton is hiring for a Mainframe Service Delivery Manager to support the Texas Department of Information Resources (DIR).The successful candidate will provide operational and technical leadership across 14 IBM mainframes – 9 located at the Austin Data Center (ADC) and 5 located at the San Angelo Data Center (SDC) .
This role is responsible for IBM mainframe operations, production control, batch scheduling, system software management, technical support, infrastructure currency, MIPS/CPU consumption tracking, networking, software procurement coordination, disaster recovery, and support for mainframe application replatforming to modern platforms.
Candidates must be local to the Austin and San Angelo Area or willing to relocate.

Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
